Roberta Schoultz

Roberta, also known as Bert, developed her love for exploring the outdoors while growing up in the mountains of northern Scotland, within the Lake District National Park. Her Alaskan climbing resume looms large, including many rugged and remote peaks in the Talkeetna and Chugach Ranges, along with Denali, Mt. Marcus Baker, and Kahiltna Dome. She began her guiding career with NOLS Winter and Mountaineering programs before joining the AMS team in 2014. When not in Alaska, Bert resides in the Tetons near Jackson Hole, WY. She’s always looking for fresh powder in the backcountry on her splitboard and regards herself as a pro bread baker.
