Guide

After honing his skills as a guide for UC Santa Barbara’s Adventure Programs, David joined AMS as a guide in 2021. Since graduating college, he has worked winters as a ski patroller for Whitefish Mountain Resort. In that role, he provides emergency care, performs high-angle rope rescue, and aids in avalanche mitigation. Along with this, he works for Aerie Backcountry Medicine as an EMT Instructor and Type II Fireline EMT. When not guiding for AMS or on the slopes, David enjoys exploring the Montana Rockies, Tetons, Wasatch, Sierra Nevadas, Cascades, Joshua Tree, Yosemite, and Moab.
