Claire Pennell

Claire comes to AMS from Salt Lake City, UT. Growing up in Vermont, she fostered a deep love for the outdoors that evolved into a guiding career after attending college in Montana. When she is not guiding in the Alaska range, Claire ski patrols at Snowbird resort and instructs wilderness education programs for the Colorado Outward Bound School. Outside of her guiding career, Claire is pursuing a Master’s in Social Work and loves to rock climb and do yoga. Her favorite thing about guiding and instructing is introducing others to the expansive, and magical experiences that wild places have to offer.
