Aaron came to AMS in 2005 following many years of climbing and guiding in Alaska. His high level of expertise in the Alaskan Range and fondness for instructing are evident both in his work here at the school and also with NOLS Alaska. When not working here in the 49th state, Aaron can be found mountain biking, canyoneering, and packrafting with friends and family on the Colorado Plateau and around the world. A skilled educator, Aaron is a faculty member of Northern Arizona University, he teaches in the Department of Geography, Planning, and Recreation. For AMS, he most often guides Denali expeditions.
