Guide

Coming to AMS in 2023, Nadine brings over a decade of guiding and conservation experience to the school, making her an exceptional instructor for our mountaineering courses. Along with AMS, she guides for NOLS and founded Chulengo Expeditions, a wilderness education company offering backpacking expeditions and conservation courses in Patagonia’s newest national parks. In the past, Nadine has worked as the Executive Director for Tompkins Conservation, a nonprofit with a rewilding approach to conservation. She has been awarded the Grit and Rock First Ascent Expedition Award in 2022 and an American Alpine Club McNeil-Nott Award in 2021. She regularly publishes work on conservation and climbing. Along with working as a guide and conservationist, Nadine climbs throughout South and North America.
